In short

Your documents, scans and photos stay on your device. We never upload or see them.
We don't ask for an account and don't collect personal information ourselves.
Free users see ads from Google AdMob, which may collect device data to show and measure ads.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never receive your payment details.

1. Who we are

Bamba PDF (the "App") is made by Altasoft ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you use the App on iPhone or iPad.

2. Your documents stay on your device

Everything you create in the App — scans, PDFs, merged and edited files — is stored only on your device, in the App's folder (also visible in the Files app under "On My iPhone › Bamba PDF"). We have no servers that receive, back up or store your files. If you share a document, it goes only where you choose to send it.

3. Camera, photos and on-device processing

The App uses the camera only when you start a scan, and reads photos only when you pick them to make a PDF. Images are processed on your device and are never sent to us.

Text recognition, smart document names (using Apple's on-device intelligence where available) and PDF compression all run entirely on your device. If you save a signature, it is stored only on your device and used only when you place it on a document.

4. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, location or contacts. We do not use analytics or tracking tools of our own.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

If you use the App without a subscription, it shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To deliver, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier (if you allow it), IP address, device type, operating system version, and how you interact with ads. This information is collected by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or a region with similar laws, the App asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the App under Settings › Privacy Choices. You can also turn off ad personalization in iOS under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and Apple Advertising.

Subscribers do not see ads, and the advertising SDK is not started for them.

6. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment information. The App checks your subscription status with Apple on your device. You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS under Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

7. Email support

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Deleting your data

You can delete any document in the App at any time. Deleting the App removes all of its documents and settings from your device.

10. Security

Because your documents never leave your device unless you share them, they are protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode and encryption.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
